Finally, I finished the requirements stage for my research in mobile guides. Two field studies with 32 participants, 26 trails in Brighton UK. In the first study participants were using a booklet and the second a mobile guide to access information of monuments in Brighton. Now, I'm agruping and comparing the studies to have a set of main requirements for the prototype. From the booklet study participants were keen to read more information and consequently give feedback about content.
From the mobile phone experience feedback of interaction and audio content were highlighted. The same content from the booklet study was used in the mobile phone study (android, touch screen). We wanted to indentify if visitors act in different ways when using the mobile technology and gather requirements for designing information for mobile cultural guides.
